MTO ROAD CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

We are looking for a Road Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 10 years supervisory experience on MTO projects over two million dollars. The candidate will be fully versed in equipment production capabilities, MTO drawings, specifications and procedures. The right person will be very organized and be able to schedule the work to maximize human and equipment resources. We would consider experience in water, sewer and storm sewer installations a definite advantage.

CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR

We are looking for a construction estimator with a minimum 10 years experience to estimate private and public sector contracts. Minimum C.E.T. designation and valid driver’s license required. Position will act as liaison with government staff, municipal staff, and consultants and the private sector, and layout various components of construction contracts. Estimator will conduct on-site inspection of jobs to ensure construction conforms with all required plans, specifications, policies and procedures. Preference given to candidates with background in MTO and municipal specifications and tendering procedures as well as sewer and water main construction, asphalt and road building work.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Aggressive, self starter with the ability to multi task required for the supervision of construction crews on various projects. Ability to interpret plans, specifications, construction layouts and set grades. The successful applicant must have experience in storm and sanitary sewers, watermain and road construction. Must work well in a team environment and possess a valid driver's licence. Estimating would be a qualified asset.

FIELD/LAYOUT PERSON

Grade person with minimum 5 years experience in road construction required for surveying and layout. Must be capable of completing projects to final grade prior to paving. Successful applicant must be self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and possess a valid driver's licence.
